Healthy Moms and Babes is an outreach ministry whose mission is to increase infant survival and foster the health of women, children and families.
Healthy Moms and Babes ensures that women and children have access to needed services through the use of mobile units and home visits. Focusing on the individual, Healthy Moms and Babes commits to helping the community’s most vulnerable women achieve successful pregnancies, thriving babies, enhanced parenting skills, expanded understanding of personal health and progress toward self-sufficiency.

For decades, Healthy Moms and Babes has partnered with expectant mothers and famillies in Greater Cincinnati providing evidence-based home visiting, parenting education and support and essential resources that empower families to thrive. We meet families where they are removing barriers to care and ensuring that no mother has to navigate pregancy alone.
Our services go beyond prgenancy. We help families build confidence and strenthen parenting skills while guiding them with the resources an eduation to have a healthy pregnancy, healthy and thriving family in a healthy envirionment. Every interaction is rooted in dignity, compassion and a committment from our Home Visitors to improving maternal and infant outcomes.
Why Our Work Matters
Many families face signifiacnt challenges including limited access to prental care and support, housing instability, food and transportation barriers as well as access to needed resources. We exist to bridge these gaps through personalized support and education with community partnerships, we help families navigate pregnancy with confidence while connecting them to the services and resources they need for long-term success.

Home Visiting Services
Our trained professionals provide personalized support to expectant and new parents through education, encouragement, and resource connections.
Mobile Outreach
Our mobile outreach services bring pregnancy support, education, and resources directly into the community, helping remove barriers to care.
Family Support & Resources
We connect families with essential resources, community services, and educational opportunities that promote healthy outcomes.
Healthy Families America Home Visiting Program
Provides support to families with education and resources during pregnancy and throughout the child’s first 3 years of life.
Mobile Van Outreach Program
Community-based health and resource outreach program. Clients meet with a registered nurse to discuss prenatal and postpartum concerns and receive education.
Additional Services Include:
Resource distribution (Diapers, potty training, menstrual products, Food Box courtesy of Freestore Food Bank), Resource connection (Medicaid and Medicare enrollment, housing support, WIC enrollment support), Referrals to medical care.
